Weather station

Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus

This station is powered by a Davis Wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus w/24 hr FARS weather station. Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather stations are among the highest quality and most accurate available at the hobbiest level. The Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS), installed on the roof 8 meters above ground, consists of an anemometer (11 meters above ground), a rain collector, a thermometer/hygrometer sensor with a fan-aspirated radiation shield, UV and Solar sensors and wirelessly transmits data to an indoor console. The console is connected via a Weatherlink IP Datalogger to an Apple Mac mini computer that runs Trixology's WeatherCat software.

The data is collected every 2.5 seconds and a local database in updated every 5 minutes, 24/7/365. The local weather information is then transferred to this Website every 5 minutes. The Website runs the full scripts of Meteotemplate developed by Jachym located in Brno in the Czech Republic.
